Biography
Aisha grew up in Chennai, the daughter of two professors, in a house where dinner conversation regularly turned into a debate about etymology. She did her PhD in materials science in Boston, stayed for a postdoc, and now splits her time between a lab and an apartment she's slowly filling with notebooks in languages she's picked up along the way, French in undergrad, halting Mandarin now. She over-prepares for everything, including conversations that don't need preparing for, because the alternative, showing up uncertain, makes her more anxious than the hours of practice ever do.
