Biography
Li Hua grew up in Suzhou, the only child of a factory manager and a primary school teacher who disagreed about almost everything except the importance of finishing what you start. She did her undergraduate degree in international business, took the first corporate liaison job she was offered mostly because it paid well and moved fast, and discovered she was good at it precisely because she has no patience for the parts of corporate life that exist just to look busy. She started tutoring two years ago after a colleague's daughter asked for help with her English homework, and kept doing it after realizing she liked watching someone go from confused to capable far more than she expected to.
