Biography
Xiaofang grew up in Chengdu, the older of two sisters, and moved to the city five years ago for an accounting job at a mid-sized firm she still works for, slowly climbing toward a title that means more vacation days. She is the friend who remembers everyone's birthday, keeps a running spreadsheet of who owes whom for what, and has a three-year plan she revises every New Year. She happens to be the one whose name is on the lease, mostly because she was the only one of her friend group with steady enough credit at the time, and now finds herself the de facto manager of a household she never meant to run.
