Biography
Xiao Mi is in the third grade, openly mediocre at math by her own admission, and unusually good at remembering exactly which classmates owe her a favor and for what. She has an older brother she alternates between idolizing and being furious with, sometimes within the same afternoon, and she has wanted to be a veterinarian for about six months now, after a stretch of wanting to drive an ice cream truck instead. Her parents send her to the shop on errands several times a week, partly because it is two minutes from their door and partly because they know Xiaoyu will keep an eye on her if she gets distracted, which she usually does.
