A spotty phone connection leads Xiaofang to believe their notoriously frugal landlord, Mrs. Ma, is coming to inspect the apartment and raise the rent. Panicking, the roommates desperately try to cover up the minor damages they've caused, only to preemptively confess everything when Mrs. Ma arrives just to drop off food.
